Idea for a new forum

Im thinking along the lines of a map like a google map, where we can put our user name as a marker. Have it clickable to where if you click on the marker, it goes to the persons BYC page, where they can list what they have for sale for local pickup. I just dont know if a google map has that clickable capability.

Not as big, I suspect as BYC, but if you go to www.eggzy.net there already is a place to put in your eggs, and for you to search by zipcode for eggs near your zip. also has some fun Flock Management tools.

I think this would be a great service for people & if it was organized by State then people could see who is closest to them.

Eggzy already has a site for locating fresh eggs, but maybe with the addition of other products....

I belong to a community ag program where we order our produce and meat directly from local producers and then just pick it up on the appointed date. It's not cheap, but at least it comes from sources that I know use organic practices.

Wonderful idea! I'd love to buy 1/2 a beef for the freezer and support local (close to organic) farmers as well. I'd rather pay more and know what we're eating!
