I am looking at ordering from ideal for some chickens. I understand the charge for small boxes and for 1/4 box breeds and all that. But what do they charge for shipping. Is it the 15cents per a chick that I saw for priority. Someone please help

I just pulled out my receipt from the chicks I got from Ideal last spring.
I was charged the min./small order charge of $7 and the quarter box charge of $7 and that's it.
What breeds of chicks did you order?

You need to check the site because, they charge per chick and based on your postal code an overall shipping charge

I saw the per chick charge on there website. But I did not see a overall charge on top of that. Mcmurray has a chart by state for chicks. My wife is looking to get some bantams. I am after some layers.

any special reason you keep them

Nah, it just got filed under misc. receipts in my file cabinet and it hasn't been cleaned out recently.

The only reason I remembered having it was because I saw it the other day while doing my taxes.

All I had to pay was the small order fee and the quarter box charge. There is no extra shipping charge to many places. You will just have to check the chart.

I just got mine last week. I ordered 12 featherleg assortment of pullets. My total bill was 38.24. I live close to them so i'm not sure about out of state shipping. Total on my chicks was 30.24 small order charge 7.00 and quarter box charge 1.00. I would just call shannon at ext. 5408 254-697-6677. This is the first time for me to get chickens and she was very helpful and plesant. Good Luck

There is no chart on there website. There is a paragraph that says all states other then those listed pay 15 cents per chick. Is this the shipping. Anyone from NC
