I have a 9 year old trio of Millie D'uccles. The Roo doesn't like his picture take. Hatched 123 chicks from them this year.

When they were younger their leg feathers measured 5-1/2 inches. They are getting kind of old and I hope will be around a lot longer. They come when called by name and love to be held or sit on my shoulders while feeding the others. And of course they must taste and give their approval of every batch of mash made. They make wonderful pets-but I say that about all of them even the rir.

Pretty birds! I've always loved D'Uccles. My favorite was killed least year by a hawk. I hatched some this year and sold all but a black pullet and a lemon yellow cockerel. The cockerel is for sale if anyone is interested. White on tail and wingtips and feet.

Just got them today! All alive and well! Ordered 25, got 30! Probably accounts for the few d'uccles that don't have beards like they should LOL. I'll call them my extra booty (Ha Ha, get it? Booty? Booted Bantams?)
