Ideas?

I have 3 bantams and right now they are in a dog kennel. Is this ok for them? I can't really have chicken coop because we aren't supposed to have them where I live(even though probably 6 other people have chicken too) I'm new to chickens so I'm in need of advice on proper care.

"Dog kennel" can mean a lot of different things - can you be more specific (size, indoor/outdoor, access to food/water, whether it's covered or not) about the particular setup you are using for your birds? It may be most helpful to take a photo and post it so we can see what you are using.

Ok I will go take a picture. It is really ugly and pretty ghetto.(I set it up as a temporary house for them.

x2 and breed of bantam as well will help since some need a bit more protection than others.

We have seen from the ghetto to the castle and really chickens do not care it is about safety and what they need more than eye candy.
