Identification help please

Hello all, anyone know what kind of chickens these two rascals are? My wife got them about 4 months ago when they were about the size of a baseball. So far we haven’t seen any eggs and the dark one sounds like it’s trying to crow. Thanks for your time.

The dark one is a boy, maybe a black sex link, it doesn't quite look like barred Plymouth rock but it could be. I'm not sure what the white one is or gender, looks female so far. Do you know where she got them?

Yes, she got them from the local trade days at the fairgrounds. She was told the white one was a rooster and the dark one a hen. She told my wife if she would take em, she could have em! And the little cage she had them in. Would any other pics make it easier to identify them better?

Looks like a barred rock and a splash of some sort maybe? I would need some better pictures of the white one. Looks like the barred is a cockerel and the white one is a pullet.

Okay. Not sure on the white one’s breed but I would guess a mix. I believe the barred is a cockerel and the white is a pullet but I can’t get a good look at hackles and saddles. Honestly your white one looks like my moss egger (Mossy) but she is a hybrid mix from Alchemist Farms. So I would think yours is just a mix.
