Hello all,

Newbie to this wonderful past time. I purchased some baby chicks from a local farmer as straight run and do not know what breed they are. Please help in identifying breeds. We purchased 8 on Nov 3, 2017 for $.99. On Nov 16, 2017 we purchased 3 more. They were all straight run so we did not know what we were getting. After a few loses to hawks and a drowning we ended up with two roosters and five hens. We recently acquired a new addition to the family. I am having a hard time identifying the chickens and need the expert advice of the forum members.

The first white bird at the feeder appears to be a Silkie female??? They are hard to sex, easier if you can see a full body shot.
The second white bird I believe is a bearded Sultan...looks to be female???
The third bird looks to be a Polish male...or Polish mix. Definitely rooster.
Final bird probably is a Penciled Rock if that is a single comb. If it is a rose comb, then Silver Laced Wyandotte with the lacing to yet develop. Female.

My guesses.

1. White Silkkie
2. Next few pics, I see:
A RIR
A White Houdan
A Buff Orpington
A Ayam Cemani??
Your roo looks to be either a bad example of a polish variety, or is a mix. I don't know.
Last one is a SLW.
You have a nice set of birds!
