I have seen tiny white worms in various waterers. I am wondering what they are and if I need to be concerned. I have chickens, goats, and horses. Have seen these in shallow pans as well as chicken waterers that are outside the coop. Not the waterers inside the coop.

Have you looked underneath the waterers?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

This may be oversimplification but are you sure its not just a small earthworm? Any time our waterer is placed on the ground, its almost a guarantee that in the morning there will be earthworms in it. Depending on the time of year, they can be tiny like the one in your photo or "night crawlers" several inches long.

With all the rain lately (assuming you’re in a rainy area), they are probably just earthworms. I highly doubt those are internal parasites. I would get some bricks / cinder blocks and put the waterer up a little higher so when the rain is hard the earthworms can’t get in there.
