What is so hard to understand, simple, "Can you get 1/4" hardware cloth in 50' rolls or longer."
NOT what do you have in stock......

Then we usually cannot even try for the 1/2 by 1 or the 1 by 2.

Where can I get rolls?

I completely understand how you feel, it is so frustrating. I think the people working there just don't care most of the time. Argh. Hope you find what you need.

The big box stores are clueless about anything that isn't "in stock" and with them running the smaller operations (that cater to the customer) out of business, the situation will only get worse. Thank the Lord for the internet. I can usually find exactly what I want there if I'm willing to pay for it.

After striking out at Lowe's, Home Depot and Tractor Supply, I finally had the local hardware store order 100' rolls of 1/2 in. mesh hardware cloth in the 48 in. height for me. (They suggested that they order it). I wouldn't have thought of asking them to. They have been in business since about 1870, and no wonder. They take care of their customers.

Ace is awesome. I know on the 1 x 2 wire they have about the best price now (it is so hard to even find it period). They also don't charge shipping to have it sent to the store which is a *huge* price savings on welded wire.
