Good job coming to a decision. This will buy you more time to decide which if any of the roos you have you want to keep.

Other ideas on getting rid of extra roos.

Place a free ad in the newspaper.
A sign on the post board of your local farmers co-op
Craigslist and here of course.
Are there any local auctions in yours or neighboring towns?

Hope one of those help if you come to the decision that 3 roos is too many for 6 hens.

why wont it be good? its a bunch of chicken and i dont have 6 hens i have 1 hen 10 pullets at 17 weeks right now and three hens coming later today

Sorry...I thought I had read 3 hens and 3 more coming.

A 15 lb rooster is really big and most likely grown and aged beyond the tender and prime point. He would most likely be stringy and you'd have to cook him forever..but maybe you could do a coq au vin since that's a recipe for older birds. I've never culled a bird myself. Like you, I couldn't eat one that I've raised. Unless I was on Survivor and starving.
