It was a balmy -8* in the Butte this morning. Dead calm (probably just jinxed that) clear sky's and bright stars.

Northern lights made a brief appearance about 3am.

I would come help with chores just as long as I get to dig my fingers into a little soft alpaca fluff!

Us Alaskans start to sweat when it gets above 60 degrees. 40-50 would be awsome right now!

So so very true! My hubbys family is insiting we come "home" to South Carolina this comming summer.........uhm NO! I went there last time in May and about died, no way I could take those temps. Besides you can only take off so many items to try and get cooler...trust me no one wants to see me like that lol

On a side note it may be -58 but my horses are still romping in the field.....goobers.​

AK Michelle ~ No problem! Chores aren’t too bad for the most part and cuddling with the pacas always makes it a bit better. It never seems to amaze me how warm those tiny lil bodies are under even a short haircut

PotterWatch ~ Please by all means, we were just down in Phoenix this past Nov and I was dying the whole time lol

It's made it up to 40 today! Our deep cold spell has been snapped for now.

Gosh I could not even imagine those temps. Thats minus 50 C. it was a lovely 42C here yesterday which is 107F os so. Think I would surely die in your temps. The coldest we get to here in winter is 28f or so and that is over night and I complain that i hate the cold lol. Will try not to complain in winter this year now .
