If you could only have a single chicken, purely as a PET...?

Which breed would you choose, and how would you raise it? (Note: I currently have a flock of 10)
Imagine, outside the realms of practicality regarding raising a chick, that you were told to pick one, single day-old chick to keep for the sole purpose of companionship.
This is sort of a follow up question for a thought experiment I've been pondering.

Even if you're bent on keeping a chicken inside, you need to get two at least. Keeping one by itself is only if absolutely necessary, and even then with lots of human companionship.

I'd have to pick a bantam Faverole hen, they made a soft coo sound to me & gently interacted well. Then again, there was that bantam Buff Orpington that was docile & cuddly like a kitty. Now that my flock is all standard size, the verdict is still out. Chickens are fun! Best wishes.
