If you feed a chicken purple feed...

    ...will the egg color be purple? I'm 99.9% sure that it won't be, but my friend insists that this is true, due to her 2009 FACTS iphone application. [​IMG] I believe her, but not the fact. Could you guys maybe clear this up? Thanks!

    Absolutely NOT! There are some pigments that can make the yolk turn colors, but not the shell.
