if you have genetic questions

I would just be happy if I could get folk to realize Light Sussex are eWh, not eb based.

Present company excepted.
Karen
light sussex are based on ewh/ewh. silver columbian is based on eb/eb(brown)

here the difference..

eb/eb(Columbian Wyandotte) on the left, eWh/eWh on the right(Light Sussex), you can tell the difference because the eb/eb shows stipling on the saddle.. ewh should not

and also how do you make buff mottled
Red Rooster,

Please stop jumping all over the place with your questions. All that is going to happen is you getting confused with all the information that will be given to you.

What is your goal or objective? Once I know your goal- then I can explain the genetics to you.

What breeds and varieties of chickens do you have to use ( in breeding) to obtain your goal?

Questions are fine but where are you going with the questions?

Tim

Yep. This is why when I have genetic questions, I go to known experts
who have proven under intense scrutiny they know what they are saying.
Sonoran Silkies, Weislaw, nicalandia, Tad Adkerson, NYREDS, Walt Leonard,
Yellow House Farm, and others.
Best,
Karen

Awww Karen, I didn't know you cared

I have 13 hens, 5 are Buff Orpingtons and 8 are Buff Rocks. I am hopefully going to be acquiring a White Orpington (quarantined first) but would like to know how the mating of these would make the eggs and chicks look?
