If you won a million $ lottery, what would you buy for yourself?

It seems most of us would be pretty savvy with a windfall. I just threw a number out there. In my part of the country a million would go further than other places. It's not the amount; it's how we would spend it after family and charity. I assume we would pay off all debts and put aside savings. I was curious to see our spending choices. I think BYC people are pretty nice and level headed!

Buy some land in the country and build a house then coops and runs for every breed of chickens that I love and build a huge aviary for my macaws and cockatoos!

A new roof. New siding for the house. Close in the carport to make a walk-in pantry. Have a company come in to complete fence and cross fence the property.

Chickens, chicken accessories, chicken feeds, chicken snacks, chicken coops, chicken-on-vacation coops, chicken decorations, etc. etc.

We would pay off our current house and buy a place that has some land so that we can raise more food. Bigger gardens, more chickens, dairy goats, etc.

I'm not sure how I would spend it ... first would be to fix up the house. After that ... I don't know.

I have a friend that bought a $5 scratch off ticket last month ~ won 500,000. After taxes they deposited 286,000 into her checking account.

She deserved it!
