Hello everyone.
My wife and I have a mixed flock of Pekin Bantams ( about 20 ) among them are two Seabright. today while at the allotment My Mrs. Liz noticed on of the Seabrights sitting by herself in the sandbath, with a drooping wing.
she picked her up ( they are all very tame) She seemed to be favoring one leg and still dropping the one wing. ( the seabright, not my wife) we brought her home and placed her in the hospital wing ( converted rabbit hutch ) and let her rest for a few hours. When my wife went to check on her she seemed to be limping badly and although it sounds daft.she went to scratch her head and missed. ( again the seabright, my wife is able to scratch her own head) she is eating well and has been eating layers pellet at the allotment and chick crumb at home, she also had part of a cherry muffin she seems comfy but "cries " when left alone, so she is in a cat box in our front room watching Mary Queen of Scots. (the one staring Vannesa Redgrave) any body have any idea what might be wrong with her ? ( the seabright, not my wife, or Mary Queen of Scots )

Thanks for the laughs! Lol

She (the Sebright) probably hurt herself somehow. Check her over for injuries. It might just be that jumping from the roost she (Sebright) sprained her leg or something. Limit movement for a few days and see how she improves. It could take just a day or two for her (Sebright) to be normal again, or it could take a few weeks. Hope it goes well!
