Im with you Sarah, I dislike the intense heat.

I moved from the Bay Area(where folks drop dead at 85) to Sacramento(with highs in the 100teens).
I dont know why I did that . . .

And on this side, winter/spring held out till a few days ago, and summer hit with a vengance.

On the bright side, this 90+ heat is the lowest its been here for at least 40 yrs . . .
Its usaully into the 100s beginning in May . . .

I like to take frozen water bottles and hold them to the arteries in my neck, or I will put my shirt in the freezer for about 20 mins then put on, I wont put socks back on till at least Sept, oh- and baby powder baby powder baby powder . . .

Stay cool!!!!!!!!

Don't give up hope ladies we still have some time to enjoy a BEAUTIFUL summer. Remember, this is New England.....just wait 5 minutes and the weather will surely change. Gorgeous here on Plum Island.

I have a fan sitting RIGHT ON ME lol


We are at 95 degrees and feels like 103. Humidity 43%

I could tell when a cloud came over my house and rained for .05 seconds

It cooled off for sure..
But now its blue skys all over

It's 4:20 and temp in my back yard is 105 been like this about 3 days with on end in site.
