:ya got first egg from my RIR since last September. One of my Polish girls laid an egg last week also. :thumbsup They are inside winter housing with 12 hours of electric light, so outdoor environment not a factor.

Congrats! The eggs numbers can only go up until spring!

I decided to give supplemental light this year & am also getting a decent number of eggs. 5-9 eggs per day. (That's also including all the "useless chickens" & their tiny eggs, but I'm very happy about their production this winter.)
