What's your go to dewormer?
I alternate diff types to avoid drug resistant parasites. I also treat 2xs. Once now & again in a week to get any eggs that may have hatched. Some people deworm religiously every 6 months; some people never deworm. I'm in between. I try to use the natural methods like pumpkin seeds & garlic to keep good gut health, but if I see runny poops, poopy butts, and a decrease in eggs, then worms are a possibility.

I took the camera outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. (crazy temps in low 50s today)

Here's one of my Sept babies, named "Treasure." I just find her pleasant in every way.

Here's Darling, my fav lavender

Here's Big Blue. I decided to keep her until the end of Feb. That way I can set some eggs before she leaves.

She's so sweet!

Here's Schmutz (a sept baby & Smudge's daughter) I'm in love with her inky black shiny feathers. She's already laying.

Here's my Blue SLO. Her lacing is crisp but looks both blue AND black. Has anyone ever seen this?

Here's my lav cockerel. He's now crowing and has started trying to mate. (More chasing than mating.)

those lace are beautiful
Thank you.
I would send an extra laced roo your way, but I fear they wouldn't measure up to the size you prefer. While my lavs, blues, & blacks are massive, the laced are slightly smaller..... but I'm working on it. Big Blue has the lacing genes & happens to be my biggest girl. Hoping she'll give me some decent chicks. Her sister is the blue SLO, who is larger than my other laced girls.

If I end up with an extra handsome, easy-going, and large fellow, I'll let you know.

I realize I forgot to post pics of Awesome (Mr. Wonderful's son).
I just love this guy and stop taking pictures of him.

As he was strutting, he got a little concerned about the shadow rooster who was following him.

He was glad to get back to his Mommy. (And yes, they do still follow their Mama around.)
