Don't you just love a good broody stare?

I decided to bring Sesame inside for a couple days & let Coge have a couple new orp eggs. The two girls were sharing the eggs, so Coge can just keep going. (I put some more eggs in my cheap incubator. The temp swings, but perhaps something will hatch. I have to repair the fan in my good incubator.) My kids will be on spring break when/if they hatch.

Since I prayed chicken and Turkey pics the other day, I figured it's only fair to post some duck pics too. I will have to get some quail pics also, but likely not until I move them outside in a few weeks. They were just outside the back door enjoying a puddle and leaves on the patio.

Are they all your ducks? Can you ID what kind?

Yes they are mine. There's 4 Rouens. The 3 browns are Rouen females and the gray body with green head is the Rouen drake. The lighter broken female is a Rouen, but comes from a different source - their breeding program apparently led to a lighter color. There's also 2 Pekins, the white ducks. 1 is female and 1 is a drake, who has the signature curled drake feather but otherwise looks much like the female.
