I have a bed between the house and the poultry yard. They went over a 6ft chain link and destroyed kale that had overwintered. My cousin got those eggs and many were green. :sick we thought they were bad, but they didn't smell. Later I found out it was the kale. I plant tomatoes and squash there now.
Green eggs and Ham!
I always wondered how they got that.

Darn chickens! Murdered my raised bed garden day before yesterday. The wind blew over my access panel and they had a good time with the sprouts.
Started over again yesterday.
I am amazed you had sprouts out already. Cold hardy crops?
