Illinois...

the dog I got in Nov, Noah, developed Eye issues and weight loss cause by kidney failure. He went downhill rapidly and I had to have him put down today. He was 10 yr old Bernese mountain Dog and a hot mess when I got him. He was a good companion but useless for anything else.
It's amazing how quick I got attached to him. :hit

Sorry for your loss 🙁

This is my 9 year old RIR. What is unusual now, is,,,, she is molting,, looks like a naked neck turken, and is laying eggs about every 2nd, or 3rd day.
That poster of that guitar inside coop must have a positive effect. :gig

I can understand how it would be exciting to take your lil ones for such an adventure. :thumbsup Sorry I cant help you there. But I'm always filled with options, and suggestions.
About 2 weeks ago I made some yeast raised pancakes. Just as I was about to start frying, a small light bulb turned on in my head.:gig
That batter can produce pancakes, or waffles. I dragged out the waffle maker and got started.
The recipe comments were, that the yeast raised pancakes simulated the taste of donuts:drool:drool:drool, well my waffles did taste great, but little like donuts. Probably because there was no oil, butter, or other shortening used . I did spray waffle iron with some spray-can butter, but that was just small amount. (to ease removing)
I can dig up the recipe, if you want. Found it on allrecipes.com.
Some of the first one did not come out square, due to insufficient batter amount. Got the hang of it and following ones came out correct.

I've made yeast waffles and pancakes before. They are delicious. I never did it with pearl sugar, but it's supposed to be even better.
