Turkey results:
12/12 control group developed and hatched
5/12 shipped developed and only 3 hatched. The turkeys hatched early, so those 2 eggs are getting more time. 28 days = Fri morning, but I expected them this morning because @Molpet 's eggs tend to hatch a day early. I set some chicken eggs due to hatch tonight.... but then I also slipped a few more. I plan to wait until Sunday.

So..... If you've been watching the hatch live-streamed throughout today you'll notice the numbers of peepers going down. I've been slipping them under broody hens. It's been quite the project. I brought inside the 4 hens that were sharing a nest box. They spent the night bickering and just wouldn't quit. This morning I grabbed 3 dark cardboard boxes, shavings, and the hens. I kept the 2 MGB sisters together but the others had to be split up. After they calmed down, I started adding poults & chicks. I've got 3 brown poults left then I'm back down to eggs in the incubator.

There's a lot of noise, but otherwise it's going OK. The sisters are in the lead and have all the chicks covered. No hen pecking with the others, but they're also not going out of their way to welcome the babies. Sometimes a cold poult will be on wrong end of box. I must keep checking.
At least you have enough hens that if they don't accept them you can give them to other hens. I have had hens only take the same color as they have already.

On a different note,,,,,,,, and I know many here shop at Farm and Fleet.
I received a $25 gift card via email. No strings attached,, but only good for purchases at store,,, not redeemable for cash. Since I do purchase feed there, it will be used up.:frow
It is part of their rewards program or something. I get email updates regularly about their store flyer. I scan and then usually delete after reading. This one caught my eye. :old Most certainly saved that email, and will print out the coupon.:thumbsup

Just thought to mention this in case you get a gift, and don't realize it,, and it gets wasted into discard.

I'll have to check, I get emails I delete from them....was it sent this week?

ETA checked email for the last week and I didn't get one. Might be a reward for buying so much. I haven't been there lately.

One of the babies had a little accident this morning. She got a little farther away from mom than she should have and ended up in a mud puddle. Of course my chicken nanny freaked out and scooped her up in her mouth to bring her back. She was gentle (not trying to eat her) but in addition to nicking her a little with a tooth, she traumatized her. I got her cleaned up and sprayed some Vetrycin on the cut but she wasn't wanting to put any weight on the leg where her cut is. It's a small cut, I am assuming from Sasha's tooth because I can't imagine what else would have gotten her. I let her sit under mom for a while to calm down and will go check on her in a little bit but I really hope she is okay! Sasha feels terrible because she knows she hurt her. I feel terrible because I was right there when it happened and couldn't do anything to stop it. I'm sure Millie is worried about her baby and poor Eowyn is injured less than 2 weeks into this world. Ugh!!
