I think she was cute both then & now. I like the feathering & body shape. How is she on size? Godiva is small like Brick, but boy is she vocal about getting her share of the treats. In fact, if she knows I have something in my pocket (& I'm not handing it out) she will literally start yelling at me. She gives an intense stare and makes very loud distinctive "honks" that only she does. The only way to make her stop is to give her food or make eye contact & say her name to acknowledge presence. Yesterday, I tried turning my back to her & ignored the honking. She actually circled me & placed herself in my line of vision to get noticed. I now have a new game to play!Looking for some opinions here on my choc split to mottled orpington named Chloe. She was hatched by @Faraday40 around July 15th and wad adopted by my Australorp when she was 3 days old. I plan on using her in a breeding project to get some choc mottled orpingtons. I am sure there will be lot of chicks that need to be hatched in all sorts of colors to get my desired chicks. So anyone interested, let me know.
I like her. Nice type and still has more filling out to do. She is a beauty, good luck on the breeding.Looking for some opinions here on my choc split to mottled orpington named Chloe. I am a little worried about the comb, whether its jagged from pecking or that's the way it is. I guess it can be fixed later.I like her. Nice type and still has more filling out to do. She is a beauty, good luck on the breeding.
my roo gets in front and looks at me pleading, he take the treats from my hand and drops them for the girls.. he doesn't eat any, even meal wormsI think she was cute both then & now. Her comb is not perfect (too many points), but she doesn't look like she has sprigs or back like this:I am a little worried about the comb, whether its jagged from pecking or that's the way it is. I guess it can be fixed later.
Love her she looks to be a beautiful girl! I think her comb could be better but like Faraday40 pointed out it could also be worse.Looking for some opinions here on my choc split to mottled orpington named Chloe.
