Please do not think me rude, I do very much appreciate you offering me exactly what I am seeking...just the distance we have between us is the issue. ilroost: So far you are the closest to me...I am 1/2 hour from Bloomington, from Bloomington to Decatur is about 1 hour...so about 1 1/2 hours 1 way, 3 hours total. I am thinking that with 12 pullets that 1 or 2 roos would be plenty. Have never had ducks before...will they co-habitate with chickens or must they be kept separate? Everyone here has been so forthcoming with information, help, etc...kind of hard to believe. Would a weekend be the best time to visit?
