@Molpet We have a pip on a turkey egg!its looking like the first hatch will happen later today or tomorrow. Today is day 26. I think you were right about a day 27 hatch.
Yay for turklets!!!
Oh no! Prayers are coming!
You've got it!
It's snowing here too, but about 35'F. Mostly big, slushy flakes. Some is sticking, but hopefully more is melting. Temps will drop below freezing this afternoon & tonight, but everything should melt away sometime tomorrow. It's a good day to stay inside.

I bet @BReeder! will also stay inside ..... near the incubator, of course.
Remember you must post pretty, precious poult pics.
I am starting in for sure. I went out to open the chicken door earlier and came right back in. I have to run to the store soon to get a few things for dinner, but I dread going out the again. I would much rather hang or with the incubator watch movies and cook.
prayers
Thank you all for the continued prayers.
I wish we could be up north with my brother and sister in law. I'm so very very worried about him.
I will continue to update on him as soon as possible.
The weather here got pretty nasty but it's Wisconsin so that doesn't surprise me except for the time of year. We might actually reach the forecasted amount of snow.
It's beautiful but the roads are rather treacherous this evening. The snow is blanketing the trees and bushes even the grass is blanketed creating an outlined winter wonderland.
We unfortunately had to go out. We ran to our favorite bulk food country store and then to tractor supply for chicken feed.
On the way home we saw a semi jackknifed in the median as well as tire tracks from 2-3 other vehicles that had been in the ditch.
People were not driving with the respect a storm like this deserved. We hope everyone is okay.
Crazily some of you may remember our water heater has been out for longer than I'd like to admit. Life has gotten busy and we haven't had it replaced. This morning our water heater miraculously started to work again. We've no idea how or why and we have no idea how long it will last but it's a blessing not having to boil water on the stove or go and shower at the farm.
Sometimes it's the small blessings.
