Illinois...

Long day outside in the cold and wind working on the swing set build... Still not done, but getting much closer.

When I finally called it quits we decided to go out to dinner. I had a gotta for Sullivan's for over a year now. I figured let's use it. That was a nice (and expensive) steakhouse dinner.

Wow! Amazing!
I love the "chicken ramp" ;) by the slide.

Honestly, our swing set has a steep step ladder .... and we frequently have a few chickens in the fort. It's mostly because the kids like to eat lunch up there. Your turkeys will also love roosting along the center beam. Yes, I can easily see the future coop layout when the kids are grown.
:p

What kind of chickens, and other animals do you raise/keep.?

I used to frequent the Mississippi Palisades, just north of you, but the Corona put a damper on those plans.:(
