I hope everybody is doing alright after the storm. I learned it did some damage, specifically it took out a server at a local dentist I just called.
On that note, I'm suffering from a toothache. A tooth with a root canal I had years ago its the problematic one. Not sure what they're going to have to do. I'm guessing a cavity formed under the cap somehow. Not happy here. Toothache is causing an earache and headache. I'm pretty miserable. Waiting for some high strength tylenol and orajel to kick in.

I got an appointment tomorrow afternoon. I just hope to get some sleep tonight and get through a workshop I have to lead in the morning - 4 hours of talking on webcam.

No damage for me either other than the muddy mess the ducks made. I tarped over a sizeable hole they made in previous rains so they wouldn't make it worse, only to have them go and destroy an area 8 times as big by the fence. So frustrated with ducks.

Small branches & mud here. A bit of standing water that already drained. Chickens were smart and stayed inside. Turkeys....... not so smart.

I did find a dead crabapple tree that went down in the part I mow behind a shed on a fence line. This is a good thing. Makes it easier to cut up

Went to the dentist today. Unfortunately, he had to extract the tooth. Good news is the problem is resolved. My jaw swelled up real bad last night into this morning. On an antibiotic now for that plus pain meds.

In poultry news, the chickens are the chickens - just doing their thing - and the ducks population is going to drop soon. @Molpet I believe I owe you a dressed duck still in exchange for pulls you have me before. I'm happy to pay up as I'll have 4 ducks (extra drakes) going to freezer camp soon.

I don't know how many inches we got but I shop vac'd about 3-4" of water from the coop. The whole yard is a swamp and my patio chairs were flying all over the place. And they're metal too! But at least no toothache. That would just be insult to injury!
