Illinois...

My new greenhouse was in the 70s whole it was in the low 30s outside!

And there's nothing in the greenhouse yet to hold heat. I just started the flooring project - dumped several bags of frozen paver base sand on top of landscape fabric and now waiting for it to the tomorrow when it warms up in there again. Then I'll put foam paver base and finally the pavers down the middle 3ft wide area and gravel on the outter 18in on both sides for drainage under the shelves. I'm hoping the paves and gravel help retain some heat into the night - I'll find out eventually.

I'm going to order some onion plants again. If anyone wants me to order some they would come in end of March or beginning of April. I am at 6 Bunches. They go down in price for every bunch up to 30.
The catch would be you would have to get them from me. R and P in Homer Glen or TSC in New Lenox are places I frequent

Which onion variety are you getting? Can we mix and match? I need to grow a red and a yellow variety because DS loves the reds but I trend to cook with the yellows.

You mean Saturday
Tomorrow it's going to be 10f and cloudy in the afternoon
You're right about it being 10F, but we managed to get plenty of sun. Forecast is saying it's supposed to get partly cloudy and then open up again. The greenhouse is 45F right now. That might thaw some frozen blocks of sand.

ETA: The sand IS thawing. I went into the greenhouse and it feels like a nice Spring day in there right now. I stepped on the lumps of sand and most of them fell apart easily. It feels more like 55/60F in the sunlight - the outdoor thermometer sensor is on the 4x4 foundation and in the shade so it's reading air temp in the coldest part of the greenhouse.
