hoping this pic works... they're really talking now!

I desparately want to settle them in a dryer place but letting them rest. the second one is less developed I think...
keeping them warm til they dry off. 1st one is out of shell...
waiting for the other to catch up into that stage...pics to follow...

Here's my duo! All settled into their brooder with the grandkids cuddly (I'm sure they won't mind!) to snuggle into. Their bellybuttons were treated with iodine and are nearly all healed.
Keeping them in this tote under a lightbulb @ about 100-102 degrees. Is that about right?

Also, have an spot lamp mounted over the tote attached to a tripod and I can adjust the height of the lamp to stabilize the warmth....

I hope I'm doing this right.....

Still gonna chew nails for the next few days.

God bless the intervention or I'm sure I'd have lost them!

I'm so glad your little ones are doing well! Yea duckies! You did great! Make sure they are able to get away from light if it's too hot. They will let you know the right temp by huddling under the light if too cold or getting as far away as possible if too hot. Other than that, it looks good.

AWW! Ive been following this thread, so glad they made it! Are call ducklings alot smaller than regular ducklings? Like mallard or Buff?

Now I want some! I mean I can just imagine itty bitty fluffy ducklings sitting in my hand.. I could walk around with them in my Pockets.... AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Now I need some.
