You should always ask EVERYONE if you may use there photo.

If you do not, make SURE that you CLEARLY put somewere NOTICEABLE that it doesn't belong to you (such as a watermark with their name).

I know, as an artist, what it feels like to have art stolen - on purpose, or by accident.

i'm sure most folks would be fine if you ask them in advance personally. Or if you want a photo of something in particular, you may want to post a specific request. People here are very nice. But this one post you have here can't be expected to get a response from everyone. So individual requests are probably best. And please let us all know when you have your site up and running. none of the pictures will be used to sell anything because i feel thats wrong to do when they arnt pictures of my own birds only when im selling hatching eggs i will use my own chicken photos i just need breed pictures as a reference and thank you all. ya i know im not going to get permission from everyone and i will ask if i can use a photo. i will def let you know when my site is up it may be a few more weeks though its pretty hard putting it together.
