Splash isn’t a breed just fyi. It’s a color pattern that many different breeds can be. She also doesn’t look splash to me either. She looks more mottled or almost barred? Not sure on breed. Hopefully someone else will have more input.

Oh i didn't mean that the slash was breed and yeah it's almost barred too but I'm at a loss here unless this is a easter egger because I have zero idea what breed this could be😂

Like legit the strangest mix of colors but I am about 99% sure this is a pullet smallest comb of all the chicks too. Unless this is a very slow growing cockerel I'd be surprised if it turned out to be one.

Ohhhhh okay. I wasn’t sure. Sorry. Some people don’t know so I figured I’d explain just in case but yeah. I’m really not sure. Could be an Easter Egger. What did you order? I think it’s definitely a pullet though.

Honestly, she might be a mix, but until she's adult it's gonna be hard finding her breed, especially with her common feathering. She might be a odd patterned Barred Rock, I'm leaning more towards Blue Partridge Brahma or Splash Isbar. I doubt she's a Easter egger, although those are the mutts of chickens, they usually have muffs and beards. Hope you find out! She is real pretty

Oh that's the fun part. I ordered all surprises. Dark brown egg special, rainbow assortment, surprise specials. All different. So literally I have zero clue what I got out of this one. I know most of my breeds now but this one has me completely stumped!!!

I wonder if it could be a Blue Olive Egger?
https://www.idealpoultry.com/product/1996/47

That page is not very helpful (no photo, vague description), but in some of the photos I thought your bird might look a bit blue. And the list of traits does mention single comb (which your chick has, vs. pea comb on the "Easter Egger" page.)

For the rainbow assortment you ordered, would it be this one?
https://www.idealpoultry.com/product/1971/62
"Our Rainbow Carton Assortment is sold in multiples of 5 and includes the hatchery's choice of 2 Brown Egg Layers, 1 White Egg Layer, 1 Dark Brown Egg Layer, and 1 Easter Egger."

If you ordered that, have you found the right number of Easter Eggers so far? Because if you are supposed to have one EE for each 5 "rainbow carton" chicks, and you are coming up one short, then that might explain this mystery chick.

I reached out to ideal to see if they could pinpoint it and they just said easter egger so we will see!
That is always a possibility for any odd-looking chicken.

The Easter Egger page says they have pea combs and muff/beard on the face, but I don't know how common it is for there to be exceptions. And I notice they add new breeds every now and then-- they could be raising a new kind of Easter Egger now, intending to offer them in a year or two, but put a few in assortments now as they work up to a larger breeding flock. (I do not know if they do this. I am just speculating about what they "might" do when starting to raise a new breed.)
