I'm confused...

Thank you. So I give her a whole tablet of the children's aspirin twice a day? I will try to get some. I really wish my driver would get off his bum and get that van checked so I can get it bought and work on getting my life back. I quit driving because of my C1/C2 subluxation and the pain it caused me to drive. But I'm done with this life and am ready to deal with the pain to get the life my hubby has taken from me because of my pain. We may be done.

We do need to be the stewards we were suppose to be for this earth. But just like us, This earth also has an appointed time. All things will pass away.

I've decided I want to get some scripture in me today as I do at least 3 times a week, so I will go out and sit with the kids longer, after The Talk Show Hell Hates is over. Live show starts in just under an hour.

Don't get me started on that. Many here may not like it... Some will some won't. And this is not the place for that...

Thank You very much...

I also meant to mention that without any carbon monoxide. The trees will not get what they need to survive, in turn will not be able to give us what we need to breath. The more carbon monoxide we have, the greener the earth would be. I do understand we do need to sorta be careful there also.

I think you mean carbon dioxide, not monoxide. The trees have all the CO2 they need without our "help".

Yes, one tablet twice a day will make your hen more comfortable.

Ya you're right, I knew that when I said it but got busy with chicks and totally forgot when it got tense out there.

Ended up taking my laptop out and my new Renogy solar suitcase I've wanted for years. Both groups of chicks out and all was going good until it started raining and I needed to get things covered. The tarp was fine and I could still keep close tabs on chicks until the wind started blowing. Neither the Phoenix or the laptop I wanted wet. Tho it wold have all got wet if the kids needed me!!!

For the 2 hours out there, everything went pretty good. Fact I wanted to keep sitting out there but the rain said I couldn't do that.

I will be so glad when this project I've had the instruction for for years, finally gets built. With a canopy or something for when it does rain again. I so love sitting out in the rain. Even thunder and lightening is cool. Thanks to Trump, I've been able to get several things I've wanted for years but couldn't get with my SSI. I can't wait for my trail cam to get here. I really wanna get video the next time a cougar cub decides to chirp next to my porch late at night..

I really need a handyman ranch hand I can hire a couple times a year to take care of a few things around here. Like thinning my flock when needed and thinning cockerel's each year when one of my girls hatch some eggs.

Thank you for the aspirin info. The toe is actually looking a bit better. Looks like she may only lose the tip of her toe and the claw. Think I should try the soak again. I should have done it this morning. Thank you.

~ God Bless

Thought I would give an update on the toe. She has, at the very least, lost her toe nail. Where all the black was before, looks like pink new flesh. Unsure if she will ever grow another nail. But it does appear she has most, if not all of her toe.

Now on to my little mister. I noticed when I first got the first 8 chicks. That the mister seem to literally take to me right from day one. I assumed they had just been handled more then just picking up to put in a box to ship. But I wonder now.

I wonder if it is jst a connection him and I got from day one. I had been letting them come out of their yard and learn to free range supervised.

I noticed him, more so then the others, eating tons of grass. So when the head shaking started, I got nervous. I know grass can cause issues sometimes.

I decided to stop the free range for a bit and watch him. After a couple days not being let out, whenever I went out there, I seen him still shaking his head a lot. So the research began.

I ran across others talking about their chicks and chickens doing it when ever they talked to certain chick/chickens. So I decided to test it. It could still be a concern. But what I saw, has to make me wonder.

I went out attempting to not really let it be known I was outside the yard. Sitting there watching him scratching and eating some food I have out there for them. I didn't notice him shaking his head. So now the test begins.

I'd talk to him and the head shaking begin. Stop for a few and it seem to stop, with just and occasional shake. Talk to him again and the vigorous shaking would begin again.

I have never seen such a thing. Or I just never noticed before. I do know he likes me a lot. Comes running to me and loves to sit on my lap and fall asleep if I can sit long enough.

He may very well honor his namesake. I really did want another love bug mister. And I think I may have just that. I'll wait and see when he starts feeling his oats... if he is still as friendly towards me.

Mean misters can not stay :( Attacking me, anyone is not allowed.

Thanks again everyone. Everything seems to be turning out well with that one little girl. All kids are doing well..
