Sooooo, a lady in the next town over had some silkie cockrells for sell at a good price. I thought about it but said, nah, I don't have room. She offered them to me for nothing a while later, nah, I don't have room. She offered again. nah, no room. She emailed saying a dog killed 3 of them and now she is adding showgirl cockrells to her get rid of list. I thought about it all day, I really don't have room. I emailed her and asked if I could pick them up on Monday. Dh doesn't know yet.
Chickens are addictive and now I am working on a silkie flock. YAY! I have to buy some pullets in the spring now.
