WOW! Thank you everyone for helping me feel a little better..
I really didnt sleep well last night. Crazy I know to be this upset over a chicken egg BUT I just couldnt get the image out of my head.
My little silkie is doing a great job and I hope the other two will hatch. I will let you know if I candle the remaining two eggs.

Oh oh oh I so know how you feel. I killed my 10 year old son's new kitten in a horrific accident I don't even want to think about. It was horrible in so many ways and I relived the whole evening over in my head for months and cried whenever I was alone in the car thinking about her. It's the worst, especially if you love animals the way we obviously do. Accidents do happen and you will feel better later. We got another kitten and he's big and healthy and while we can't replace gypsy, we did rescue yet one more from the adoption shelter. Keep trying and don't give up!
