They are almost 19 weeks old. I have 6 Barred Rocks and 5 Buff Orpingtons. I believe it was the Barred Rock that layed. I have 2 with bright red combs and wattles. The others are red, but not bright red. I sent out notices to everyone about the egg. You would have thought I had given birth or something. Hahaha

congrats!!! Mine just started laying this week, they are 20 and 18 wks old. I got 1 egg tuesday, 1 egg Wednesday, and 2 Thurs. i don't know which hen laid which but it doesn't matter cuz I'm getting eggs even tho the are very small.
