I'm FED up with Hard Boiled Egg DISASTERS!

The finches and other birds enjoy the shells for the calcium. I also add some other goodies like kelp powder, handfeeding formula, peas, carrots, green beans, corn, a bit of bird seed, dried herbs, pee pollen, and some various pellets. It always smells good when I'm done and they love it.

I read that as "Geez I want to rub my face..." and I could not stop laughing. I'm not a fan of runny yolks in fried eggs (because it's messy) and my dad always made really gross runny eggs for breakfast. That's why I preferred mine to be scrambled. I do like a softer boiled egg, especially if I'm making ramen.

Well I wouldn't mind rubbing my face in it either. :)

My main use for eggs is in bowls of noodles, though while I love those perfectly soft, marinated boiled eggs that restaurants use, I find a poach more practical at home.

People aren't a fan of shell in their eggs though. lol

Mmm crunchy... :sick

At a higher altitude, water boils at a lower temperature and things like hard boiled eggs, rice, pasta, etc. take longer to cook. And don't even get me started on what the altitude does to baked goods!
Oh I wish that could be my excuse! But I live in the valley and altitude is only 190 ft. :(

Still working on trying my experiments soon. The problem might just be I'm too paranoid and overthinking the whole thing. Gonna shake it off and start fresh

Shells are bird food! I will take these instead

Ours was delievered on Tuesday. I'm really happy with it so far! The eggs were about 1.5 weeks old and peeled very nicely and looked good. Some of the online reviewers complained about the buzzer being extremely loud but that must be previous models because this one has a musical tone.
Good to know. Thanks!

I pressure cook all my eggs and have never turned back. Freshness doesn't matter. Some crack but they get eaten anyway. And they're always easy to peel.
