I'm getting buttons again!

The button pen build is underway. I will post a video when it's done. The frame is done. I need to do a lot of stapling of plastic and hardware cloth, and the door needs to be put in with the hinges and latch. Painting will be the last thing to do if I want to go that far.

I'm very lucky. I drew out the plan, then told my friend's husband what I wanted. He's a former master carpenter. I learned a lot from him while he was doing this. If I had done it, it would not have turned out nearly as nice.

For some reason, no one that I talked to about how I wanted the door to be done could understand what I wanted. I had to take pieces of wood and lay them out on the ground to show my friend's husband how the door would work. He was thinking a hardware cloth flap, but I didn't want that.

There are 19 in there. I know it's way too crowded. My friend will be coming next month to take half of them home with her. She's the one who had the eggs sent to me.
