I'm going to Flordia and I have baby chicks what do I do

Next week I'm going to Flordia for a week and my dad says he is filling a box full of food for them and buying some water thing for them is that are right?

I did the same as you last year. Had a brooder full of chicks at one week old and had to leave for florida for a week. I had a neighbor check on them every day. They will empty the food and water quickly.

Just make sure someone can feed and water twice a day and they'll be fine. I've done it before and didn't lose any chicks.
