I'm gonna get a tattoo

Watch where you get your tattoo, Chelsea. If it's on a "meaty" part of your body (muscle as opposed to bone), it doesn't hurt as much. If you get it where there's less meat, and mostly bone, it can hurt quite a bit. The pain goes away pretty quickly, tho.

I would like oak leaves and twisty branches on my arm, to cover up the Chinese character I have there already. Maybe something autumnal?

BTW, did you see that my first hatch is HATCHING?

I have a wolf with Indian feathers on my right upper arm, I have two indian feathers on right right low leg on the calf. They cross each other and one represents and Indian who scalped someone and the other meant he killed someone in battle.

Then of course I have a Flyers Hockey team tattoo on my left arm.

My experience with tattoo's is that they can be addictive.

PS. I am a professional in a job where I wear a suit and tie everyday and know one knows I have them. Unless I want to wear something that shows them. Just my own personal feeling that tattoos don't always look the greatest when you are wearing business attire. Again just my two cents.

Good luck.

I promised my hubby that if he got a Harley I would get a tattoo! Never thought that would happen:D
Well we have a Heritage Softtail Classic and yes I got the tattoo..
It is a chick wearing a harley vest and it is on my left shoulder where it does not show unless I want it to! I call it my little harley chick.

I know what you mean. I'm a stockbroker. Some of these old farts just wouldn't get it.

I have 2. The first was my 30th birthday gift to myself! It is 3 purple iris on my lower back. The second is on my outer right thigh. It is only about 1 inch square and is the chinese symbol for double happiness. My friend and I got them at the same time to honor my parents and her daughter, all of whom were killed in seperate car/motorcycle accidents. Next, for my 40th birthday I want to get a copy of my Dads tattoo. Not sure where. My hubby prefers that they don't show all of the time.

I got my first tatoo when I was fifty. It's a little fairy sitting on a stem of a rose. She's on my ankle. I waited awhile and got a beautiful sun tatoo on my left shoulder. Last year I got a half moon with stars around it. It also has the Chinese symbol for patience hanging on the moon. I'm not a biker, just a 60 year old grandma who rughooks every Tuesday night. My husband just kinda chuckles about it, and my twin sister thinks I'm crazy. GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN! I want one more, maybe a little bird or an ankle bracelet of twining leaves. I don't think it hurts to get a tatoo. To me it's annoying. If it hurt, I wouldn"t have gotten 3 so far.
