I'm having a REALLY bad day.... And it may last all week.

Well, she's back in Arizona, but apparently that just isn't far enough. Today my mom brought in the mail, and told me that I had a letter. I opened up this bulging envelope, and I see a smaller envelope with a piece of blank paper and the words "for your reply", a handwritten, insulting, downright illogical rant with poor spelling and improper grammar, and a extremely slanted article printed from the website of an organization that believes that no animal should have anything to do with humans, and often distributes slanted information, cherry-picked half-truths, and outright lies(I am not going to name names, most of you probably know who I am talking about, and some members of the less savory side of my family lurk here, and I don't want to be identified.). I am SO mad! :he:mad:
And I was just starting to feel less angry..

She obviously lives a sucky life. Honestly, who wants to whittle away their their life tormenting relatives for attention? Don't reply and don't waste one more instant of brain activity on that woman. Let her spew her venom down an empty well and waste her time hoping for splattering noises of it hitting something. She has no right to your time or attention. She'll get bored and go poke sticks at somebody more interesting to torment.

If she sends you any more mail- with a return address so you know it's her , don't open !! , Just write across the front - REFUSED, RETURN TO SENDER with an arrow pointing to her return address .

If you get any strange looking stuff and it's not with a return address you know and like - do the same.. I'm surprised your mom doesn't stand up for you and protect you from malicious relatives.

If she were in MY life, I would rip her a new "exit," But that is easy for me to say because I am an old fart now. When I was young everyone picked on me and I didn't speak up for myself.

It seems one of the few benefits of being old, aside from senior discounts, is that I've become very assertive and no not suffer fools.

Please don't let this person suck the joy out of your life.

What drumstick diva said. You poor thing, nobody deserves to be bullied like that. It was none of her business, so it's not even worth replying to her letter. Quite frankly I'm horrified, I could hardly imagine knowing someone like that!

Stay well away from those people. Tell her that as long as she acts like that, you are not going near her again. Hope you don't have to go through all that again.

I'd mail it back, with grammar and spelling corrections all marked in red. And on the blank piece of paper ask how she ever graduated school

And then never open another letter from said person and never be in the same room with them again, life's too short to have deal with miserable sods like that.
