I'm having major wisdom tooth/teeth issues. Advice?

Wow! Thanks for all the helpful advice everyone. Mahonri, love the blue roo. I guess I do remember seeing that you're a dentist. Arizona is so nice this time of year, we used to go for spring break to stay with my grandparents outside Wickenburg. My family still has the house.

Still too early to call OSU dental clinic, but thanks again to everyone. You're all sooo darn nice.

get it done!!!!!!!!!! by whatever means it takes. I had this same thing happen to me last year. In a 1 1/2 month time period, had 2 severe ear infections, 2 upper resp infections, the flu in between and a severe sinus infection that started off as allergies but because of my wisdom teeth (the ones at top) were affecting my sinus cavity

, I was a sick puppy, that they finally determined was because of my wisdom teeth (i didnt know they could cause all that

). I had them removed and have not had a problem since..........

I diddnt read all the pages. Mine have all come in fine. The knot in the jaw just comes with it, I guess. I had that too. It does hurt, it is a pain, and my last one took at least two weeks. I got my first one when I as 17 and my last one when I was 25!

But, seriously, if is is infected or pushing on your other ones, that is different. My DH had to have all of his pulled. I had an xray when I was about 15, and he said they all looked straight, so they should be fine. And they were, but it really gave me sympathy for my baby who is teething!

Get those puppies out. I lived with constant infections and pain and colds and headaches for three years because of one of my wisdom teeth, not to mention they screwed up the rest of them.

get them out. Most surgeons have payment plans these days.

I only have two wisdom teeth (does that mean I have less wisdom?). I don't plan on having them removed though as they aren't causing me any trouble and if I can avoid the dentist... I do.

We have a community clinic here that will pull teeth for $25 if you don't have insurance. My husband has used them twice and everything went well. I had my wisdom teeth pulled and it would've been $1800 without insurance

Thankfully we have good insurance now.

you gotta get it yanked. I had my two bottom ones done when I was 23.
I should have had them take all 4

I was getting infections in my gums because of the bottom right one. The pain was unreal.
Of course my insurance wouldnt cover actually putting me under for it. And of course there was a problem with the lower right one. The root was hooked like a J and the nerve was wrapped around it. Yeah. That hurt. The dentist was practically standing on me to get leverage to yank it out.
