I have had very little luck with intermittent fasting I've actually had more luck with making sure I was eating a protein with a complex carb every two and a half to three hours the theory being that you're keeping your insulin levels and hormone levels study and there's not a stress response however right now nothing's working for me and my body is all kinds of whacked out and I've tried a lot of different things I did keto trying to get ready for a vacation last year but the amount of stress and crazy like keto made me kind of excessively irritable to put it mildly and kindly and so just not the person that I want to be? I don't know like it's a personal struggle right for all of us if we management isn't easy then what it's like I try to eat excessively healthy so nothing that's processed no injected meats no can't food everything is fresh including the meat I usually help me a fresh veggies that I baked not boiled my carbs are generally like brown rice brown jasmine rice occasionally oatmeal but gotten away from that fruit high carb veggies like parents and quinoa and sweet potatoes usually not regular potatoes but every now and again regular potatoes as wellI KNOW, trust me. I'm eating less in general but cutting out sugar has been the main thing. Just been to busy to eat today. Fasting or intermediate fasting is good for your metabolism. Trust me.. I do not starve myself.
