I'm amazed it hasn't crowed yet. My lil' guy made some hilarious crow sounds after 8 weeks, just a week later and much more manly. Thankfully his pattern is 3 crows about 6:30 am and that's it.

What is your Aussie mixed with, golden laced wyandotte maybe?
 
Egghead_Jr, what breed is your Roo? I saw that you had star/sex link and Orps, I have a RSL roo and Im hoping he is not an all day crower so I can keep him

If it is not illegal to have a roo and you have at least 4-5 hens I'd keep him. (I'd beg my hubby for a trial). Some are worse with the crowing than others, some are never mean and he can be culled later if need be. If you free range at all a roo is a great protector of the flock and there are some great posts on here about that. They find treats and call the hens to get them, even wait for them to eat.
