I'm losing my Mozart (update: It's over, my last Pyr is gone)

Thank you all, I'm looking out my back window at his tree and he's not under it but one of the smaller dogs is laying in his spot, it just doesn't look right.

I know that Moz had a very good life with you and lots of love. He knew it as well.
In time a new baby will come into your life and heal some of the hurt. We never forget and they can never be replaced but there is somehow always room for another one to love and be loved by

I am so sorry to hear this. I know the pain your going through and know its not easy. We lost our Chow to the Diamond dog food mess a few years back and now our 10 year old German Shepard has two forms of cancer, sarcoma and melanoma. Right now its just comfort measures for him.

Some days are good, some days aren't.

As for Py's. We just got a Py puppy last Friday. Our first. I can definitely see why people fall in love with them.

I hope your heartache lessens each day that goes by and that you remember the great memories that you had with both of them.

I'm so sorry that you lost your buddy.

I wish you could have the Pyr that lives at the end of my block. He's 1 year old and is home by himself most of the time - just him and a bunch of stuffed animals in the backyard. Drive up to Pueblo and I'll help you "liberate" him.

LOL don't tempt me!! Mozie and JoJo were "liberated" rescues that took us and the SO to liberate. I was only going to foster them for a couple of months to get healthy, I couldn't let them go after the first time I made eye contact with them. JoJo just seemed to be thanking me for saving her baby.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. A lot of the comments on here brought tears to my eyes since it's only been 2 wks since we lost our 15 yr old dog.
