The other day I went to RiteAid to get some vitamins for my kid and I'm literally standing in the center aisle w/ my arms loaded w/ bottles b/c I KNOW I needed something else, but couldn't remember it for the life of me. Mouthwash that my daughter has been asking about for weeks.. Mouthwash. SMH... I'll get it one day.

I'm a terrible employee, as I'm a "job-hopper" (I quit every job at around the 2 year mark). I'm actually really good at my job (jobs!), I just get bored, and bail. I always end up hating my bosses, too, for whatever reason.

Yeah, I'd never hire me, but somehow, I've had 30+ years of steady employment, and can totally explain away the job-hopping, and lack of references during an interview.

I get what you mean. It's hard staying at a place for years, esp when there's no room for advancement, or if something better comes along. There's so many 'stepping stone' jobs out there and it's often better to do the job hopping thing b/c you make more $$ in the end. I've been at the same job for 18 years now. My pay sucks.. I just got a raise to a whopping $13.41 this year. Same field in other places hires in at $15-20/ hr. HIRES IN. For how long I've been here I should be making at least $25/ hr now. But work is 3 min from my home & I get 5 weeks paid vaca a year & can cash out 1/2 that in Dec. Never get bonuses, but I get sick time (several hundreds hr accumulated) & what amounts to 5 other days off a year. I never get written up. I come in early/ late. Leave early/ stay late. Leave to take my kids to appts, or to take them things at school. So there's good an bad, just like w any job... right now it works for me, so I stay. It doesn't help ease the pain that if I stay I'll get to retire in 20 years with a full pension and all of my friends are worried about if there's going to be Soc Security around in 30 years so they can retire.

I was wondering how they fit. My youngest one is 12 and is 5'4", I'll probably get a medium for her then that way I'm sure it'll fit and she can grow into it. She's got at least another year of growing and she's a little bit plus so I don't want to get anything too small. Are they warm?
 
Yes they are very warm and well made! I think width wise you'll be fine but definitely medium on the height at 12 she's got a lot of sprouting to do.

She sure hope so. Sister is 5' 5.5" & she hopes to pass her up. But especially with things like pajamas I like to get ones that will sustain them for more than a year.

Thanks, I do like the codes. I wish they were easier to find sometimes. I'll keep that in mind. I have exactly $0 until I get paid next Friday... Really kills the whole shopping mood.
