I have 10 eggs in my electric incubator.Yesterday I spilled a little water in the hole on the top where the motor is. The egg turner has not moved today. I'm afraid it was damaged by the water. Do not know what to do.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! I would unplug the turner, take it out, and make sure it is completely dry, then see if it works, but X2, you are probably going to have to turn the eggs by hand. ... you did spill the water on the turner motor, not on the incubator/fan motor... the incubator is holding temperature etc?

Welcome to BYC!

Sorry about your turner issues! Yes, I would try to dry everything off quick like. It won't hurt the eggs to chill for 5 or 10 mins. This happens in nature all the time when momma gets off the nest for a spell. If drying it doesn't do the trick, you can turn them by hand. Give them a 1/4 turn to the left, next time to the right. Turn them at least 4 times a day. More if you can.

Good luck with your hatch! If you have any other questions, that is what we are here for! Oh, and welcome to our flock!
