Hello everyone. I'm not new to Backyard Chickens, the site, nor am I to chickens, but I just joined here to help you all!

Currently, we have 4, sweet as can be, Barnevelder hens, and we are currently raising 6 chicks right now. They are all hens, at least that's what we asked for.

The breeds of the chicks are: barred rock, 2 light brahmas, olive egger. americana, and a rhode island red.

They are all only 5 days old!! Happy and healthy :) Would you mind letting me know how you like those breeds? I really would like to get some feedback, and especially on the light brahmas!! I heard that they are GIANT and HUGE. Is that true? How big do they usually get, and how big are your hens?

Thank you all so much for your help, support and feedback. Please give me feedback!! Especially on the light brahmas PLEASE and THANK YOU!!

awwww, thank you so much! do you have any experience with any of the breeds that we are raising? i'd love some feedback!!!!
I have a RIR, PBR and an Ameracauna among many others.
My RIR is head hen, my PBR is second in command, very sweet and an excellent broody hen. The Ameracauna, Captain (I know, I know... how original) is my junior rooster. He's a nice guy and quite the looker, but an airhead.
