Yes please do something "else" besides what you have been doing.

It's nice to see that you are smart enough to see when you aren't doing something "right" (meaning you have tried different ways and your ways are clearly not solving the original issue!)

Maybe they do not need any heat during the day or maybe you can drop the bulb wattage? Or rig up the thermostat? Good Luck

Ok and another question I have been putting eggs in every day have I messed up by not waiting 5 days or so

It is easier if all the eggs are put in at once. They say you should put the incubator on lockdown the last three hatch days and raise the humidity, but personally I have broken all the rules and had great success with my hatchlings. I had a little flopper that kept falling and could not get up and I must have opened the incubator dozens of times before I gave up and just held it in my hand, it eventually overcame its flopping.
