Hello! My name is Gabby and we are getting 12 one year old chickens in a few days and I need to know what bare minimum I need to get. We live in Florida on the west coast. Im looking for some feeder and waterer recommendations. We plan on eventually setting up a continual waterer system but it's not a necessity right now. I'm also stuck on where to get some bedding for them? Any and all advice is appreciated!! We are so excited to have these mini raptors TIA!!

The bare minimum of what?

There are lots of different bedding options. Usually I use straw, but pinestraw, wood chips, leaves, and a few other options as well. I'd also look into the deep litter method.

You can do a Search for any questions you have and see if there is already a thread or article on the topic. If there isn't one or you can't find the right answer, feel free to start your own thread!

I use 5 gallon buckets horizontal nipples, no dirty water.
