I'll have to get another pic tommorow of the feathering. I have three that are like this the other two have more of a tan head where this one has a burnt orange tone. All my chicks are 2 1/2 weeks so I'm probably going to have to wait to be able to tell totally.
The comb is just different as far as color goes, again I'm new to the chicken world..
The breeder I got the eggs from has EE's( even though I was told Ameracuana) Golden Sebright, Millie fleur duccle's, dominiques and buff orpington.

This one is starting to scream a bit roo to me when its mingled in with the other chicks, but I know its a bit early. I just have this gut instinct on it..

Here are some other pics of the other chicks that I've got..

There is no mistaking this one is a rooster...lol 2 1/2 weeks bright red comb..

Here is another with the black comb...

This is a Buff Orpington/millie fleur duccle.. I'm praying this turns out to be a girl, as I love the feather feet...

The feathering of the buff mix..

Last two are EE's and there combs are very similar to the two I'm questioning there breed mix

and of course at two weeks I'm seeing some coloring of there combs.. :(
So here are just some pics of the mix breed that I have going on, I'm hoping someone will be able to chime in with there experience to figure out those two with the dark combs..

The 2 red headed chicks are gold laced sebrights. The second to last chick looks like it could be a dom or domX, does it has a white spot in its head?

The black pigment is a temperary thing, my sexlinks hatched with black on thier combs, but it has started to fade now that they are close to laying.

Thank you so much..The other one doesn't have any white spots just weird yellow down around him.

THe ones with black combs could be silkie crosses, do they have black skin as well? If not, then I would have to agree with farmerChef.
